Jasmine has been at the piano since age five. What started as a childhood passion grew into a lifelong commitment to music — through years of competition, formal study, and now over eight years of dedicated teaching.

Education & Credentials

Jasmine holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of California, Irvine — one of the most respected music programs in the UC system. Her training encompasses performance, music theory, and pedagogy, providing a well-rounded foundation for teaching students at every level.

She is certified through the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) up to Level 10, and brings extensive experience preparing students for both MTAC Certificate of Merit and ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) examinations. Her students consistently achieve strong results in these internationally recognized assessment programs.

Performance & Competition

As a pianist, Jasmine has a strong background in competitive performance. Years of participating in piano competitions at regional and state levels shaped her understanding of what it takes to perform under pressure — discipline, preparation, and musicality. She brings that same rigor and encouragement to students who pursue competition, while keeping the experience positive and growth-oriented.

Teaching Approach

With over eight years of teaching experience, Jasmine has worked with students ranging from young beginners to advanced players preparing for exams and auditions. Her lessons balance technical development with musical expression — building strong fundamentals while keeping students engaged and motivated. Every lesson plan is individualized, because no two students learn the same way.
